Who am I?

The girl in the song, I am not. *Huff, puff and sigh*. Although, I'm embarking on a mission to change all that, even if the origin of this concept is based on fictional characters in songs (see Who is she?).

Don't take Disney so literally? But surely life is more fun when I can breathe underwater and lose my voice for the prince that I saved on a stormy night?? Ok I'm only kidding, I'm not really a naive nut who thinks she can fly if she puts her mind to it; and perhaps you're picturing me as a repulsive recluse of a dreamer who could never in a million years be what she is naturally not, but I'm not really that either to be politely honest. Not to bore you with the details - what I am you will hopefully come to see (don't give up hope on me already!) and if you really do think this is the most ridiculous endeavour, equal to plummeting down the toilet drain, then please be gentle and let me down slowly. I am new at this, and if you wallop me, I might bleed forever (like that Leona Lewis song). Warm your cockles and smile as you read, and please, picture yourself holding my hand throughout this period of "growth", I'm going to need it.
